This ensures that nobody modifies these sections without his/her permission. In order to set passwords for certain program sections (scheduled scans, web content filter, Updates, etc), follow these steps:
Click Preferences.
Go to the Restrictions section.

Supervisor password. It allows the computer supervisor to enter a password, in order to prevent other computer users from accessing the settings of the restricted areas.

Confirm password: Repeat the password you have entered in Password.
Note: It is very important not to forget the supervisor password, since, if you forget it, you will not have access to restricted sections. If you forget it, the only solution would be to uninstall the program and install it again to set a new password.
If you want to set a new password, click Change password. The following options will be displayed:
Enter previous password: If a password has already been set, you can change it, but first of all you must enter the previous password in this section.
New password: Enter the password that you want to use to protect access to certain program sections (those checked in the previous list).
Confirm new password: Enter the new password again here to confirm that you have done it correctly.
Several buttons appear at the bottom of this tab. Click OK, to save the changes to the configuration. By clicking Restore the default settings will be restored. By clicking Cancel, the changes to the configuration will not be applied.
